The CampCamp Hope is a free weekend camp for children, ages 6 to 16, who have experienced the loss of a significant loved one. DatesSpring, 2011: ActivitiesActivities at the camp include: Swimming, hiking, arts and crafts, pottery, low and high challenge ropes courses, rock climbing wall, board games, volleyball, basketball, storytelling, folk singing, and relaxation. What to BringFor Spring Camp: Weather can be variable at this time of year, but the average high temperature is 71 degrees and the average low is 44 degrees. Long sleeve shirts, T-Shirts, pants, sweatshirts, light jackets, and sneakers should be appropriate for daytime, while heavier jackets and pants should be appropriate for the evening. We advise you to check the current weather report and pack accordingly. Don't forget your swimsuit, an extra pair of shoes, and sleepwear. For Fall Camp: Weather can be variable at this time of year, but the average high temperature is 85 degrees while the average low is 53 degrees. Shorts, T-shirts and sneakers should be appropriate for daytime, while long sleeve shirts, pants, sweatshirts, and jackets are appropriate for the evening.
